Investec Bank, the UK banking subsidiary of international financial services group Investec, has expanded its private equity offering with three new appointments – Oliver Altendorf, Christoph Schwarz, and Emilia Korobowicz to its GP advisory team.
Altendorf has joined as Director, Schwarz as Associate Director and Korobowicz as Associate. The trio will be led by Stefano Manna, who joined Investec last November as Head of GP Advisory.
Prior to Investec, Altendorf was Vice President at advisory and private markets placement firm Asante Capital Group. He previously worked in Houlihan Lokey’s investment banking division.
Schwarz previously worked at private equity fund of funds HarbourVest Partners and financial services firm Raymond James, while Korobowicz was part of global investment bank Credit Suisse’s private fund group.
According to a press release, Investec Bank’s GP advisory team was launched in November 2023 “in response to growing demand from private equity general partners (GPs) for advice around alternative exit options”.
