Jersey-based specialist fund services firm Ipes has bolstered its senior management team with two new hires.
Jonathan Buesnel has been appointed as the new business/technical director while David England has taken up the position of compliance manager for Ipes Jersey.
Having been appointed to the board of Ipes Jersey, Buesnel will be responsible for managing the new business take on process whilst providing technical oversight.
Buesnel has more than 17 years offshore experience in the financial services sector. He joins Ipes from Moore Management where he was responsible for business development and client relationships having previously been a client manager at EFG Fund Administration. Buesnel qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Jersey and is a member of the ICAEW.
Buesnel says: “I am delighted to have joined Ipes and am excited by the opportunities which lay ahead. I look forward to helping grow the business in Jersey and developing relationships with new and existing clients and intermediaries.”
England will take up the position of compliance manager heading up the regulatory functions of the business. He joins from Ogier having helped set up their global team dealing with new business take on. Previously England led the risk and compliance team at Jersey Trust Company.
England says: “This is an exciting time to be joining Ipes, and I am looking forward to working with the team and developing the business’ regulatory framework. There is a lot of new regulation underway and in the pipeline, with more to come, and I look forward to the challenge this brings.”
