Janney Montgomery Scott (Janney), a full-service wealth management, capital markets, and asset management firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, has appointed Sean Gallagher as Managing Director in the Infrastructure Investment Banking Group.
Bringing with him over 20 years of industry experience, Gallagher previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of International Raw Materials LTD, a marketing, distribution, and merchant trading firm focused on industrial materials and chemicals. Prior to International Raw Materials, he co-founded GBH Advisors, a strategic and financial advisory services firm for senior management and boards of directors of public and private companies, private equity firms, and high net worth individuals. Gallagher also previously served as Managing Director in the Global Industrials Group at UBS Securities and Director for the Global Industrials Group at Merrill Lynch.

In his new role, Gallagher will be responsible for directing the investment banking activities within the infrastructure sector, providing strategic advisory and financial solutions that drive client results and create shareholder value. Based in Janney’s headquarters in Philadelphia, Gallagher will report directly to Booth and will play a primary part in building the Infrastructure Group within Janney.
Gallagher received his MBA in Finance and Strategy from Yale School of Management and his BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
