Jefferies taps Credit Suisse banker for tech dealmaking role

Jefferies is looking to bolster its technology dealmaking business with the addition of Credit Suisse investment banker Jon Gegenheimer to its team, according to a report by Reuters citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

Gegenheimer, who will report to Cameron Lester and Jason Greenberg, the global co-heads of technology, media, and telecom investment banking at Jefferies, was a managing director at Credit Suisse and is based in San Francisco.

Gegenheimer is the latest addition to Jefferies’ investment banking unit, after the recent appointment of dealmakers John Miller, Kurt Kohlmeyer and Richard Siegel from Barclays, and Ron Eliasek from Bank of America.
