Jolt Capital, a private equity firm specialising in European growth investment in European deeptech businesses, has appointed Marie Nicod, an engineer and investor, as Investment Director, based in the firm’s Paris office.
In her new role, Nicod will be responsible in particular for sourcing and preparing Jolt Capital’s equity investment transactions. She will also be involved in the strategic analysis of portfolio companies to ensure their follow-up and accelerate their development.
Nicod graduated from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (ENPC) in 2008, then ENSTA (2009), and has subsequently worked in the development programmes several players in the defence industry, including Naval Group (2007 to 2018), and Thales (2019 to 2022).
She later held the position of Group Technical Director and member of the Executive Committee of Aresia (2022 to 2023) and most. Recently served as Investment Director Deeptech at Expansion (2023 to 2024).
