Jolt Capital, a growth-focused private equity firm specialising in deeptech investments, has named Warren Kim – the former Head of Corporate Coverage at Natixis Asia’s Seoul branch – as Managing Director for its new South Korea office in the city.
Kim brings extensive experience managing client relationships and advising leading Korean corporates, including Samsung, LG, SK, Hanwha, and Lotte Group. His appointment marks Jolt Capital’s first senior hire in South Korea, following its expansion into Japan in 2024.
The move aligns with Jolt Capital’s strategy to extend its investment footprint beyond Europe and tap into Asia’s deeptech ecosystem. Kim will oversee investor relations, regulatory matters, and business development for portfolio companies, supporting the firm’s efforts to attract South Korean LPs to its Jolt Capital V fund and identify M&A and exit opportunities.
Jolt Capital currently maintains teams across Canada, the UK, France, and Japan, focusing on growth-stage deeptech investments.
