European deeptech investor Jolt Capital has appointed Jean-Marc Ollagnier as an operating partner, bringing four decades of experience at Accenture to the firm as it seeks to support the growth and transformation of its portfolio companies.
Ollagnier spent 40 years at Accenture, holding a number of senior leadership positions including CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, global head of the energy and resources industry group, and country managing director for France and Benelux.
At Jolt Capital, he will work alongside the investment team and portfolio company management teams on technology transformation, innovation and growth initiatives.
His remit will include helping businesses identify opportunities arising from technological developments, including artificial intelligence and digital transformation, while supporting entrepreneurs as they scale their companies and develop new business models.
Ollagnier will also advise Jolt Capital’s investment professionals, drawing on his experience of managing large-scale corporate transformations to contribute to the firm’s investment and operational strategy.
During his career at Accenture, Ollagnier worked with multinational companies on strategic, operational and technology-led transformation programmes. He was also involved in the consulting firm’s development around its 2001 IPO and later helped drive its strategic expansion into technology-focused areas including digital transformation, AI and sustainability.
Beyond his corporate roles, Ollagnier has participated in international initiatives addressing the digital and environmental transitions, including work involving the European Union, BusinessEurope, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, COP conferences and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
