JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services has announced that its private equity fund services business has been appointed by Marshall Capital Partners, a Russian private equity firm, to provide private equity fund administration.
Marshall Capital, whose investors include Russian institutional and international investors, has USD2.5bn of assets under management.
The appointment is JP Morgan’s first for its private equity fund services in Russia. Marshall Capital is an existing client of JP Morgan Treasury & Securities Services, which provides escrow and global cash management services for the firm.
Huw Jones, regional head of JP Morgan Private Equity Fund Services in EMEA (pictured), says: "Our quality reputation and superior service delivery, our existing relationship and our strong corporate banking presence in our Moscow office helped us to extend our relationship with Marshall Capital. During these turbulent market conditions, private equity firms and their investors are increasingly looking to work with a trusted provider of independent administration, like JP Morgan."
J.P. Morgan’s Private Equity Fund Services provides private equity administration services to more than 200 funds managing USD200bn in alternative assets. It has offices in London, New York, Jersey (Channel Islands), Sydney, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco.
J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services helps institutional investors, alternative asset managers, broker dealers and equity issuers optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance revenue.
