AT Kearney adds three partners to private equity practice

Management consulting firm AT Kearney has expanded its private equity practice with the hiring of three new partners, Mark Anglin, Michael Dart and Todd Hooper, who specialise in consumer goods and retail investments.

They join AT Kearney from Kurt Salmon and collectively bring a full breadth of strategy and transformation capabilities to serve private equity investors and consumer-retail industry clients.
"We're especially pleased Mark, Michael and Todd have chosen to join our private equity team and confident they will continue to drive our rapid growth in the consumer and retail sector," says Robert Haas, partner and head of AT Kearney's private equity practice in the Americas. "AT Kearney's strategic capabilities and collaborative approach are unmatched in the marketplace. The combination of deep industry experience, strategic insight and rapid business improvement has resonated with top private equity fund clients."
Anglin is a due diligence and growth strategy expert with more than 20 years of management consulting experience. He has served many of the leading and mid-size private equity firms investing in the retail and consumer sectors in both the US and Asia. At Kurt Salmon, Anglin was a partner in its private equity and strategy practice. He will be based in AT Kearney's San Francisco office.
Dart is a private equity consultant and advisor, with more than 20 years of experience leading major strategic transformations and conducting due diligence for many of the largest private equity funds and global retailers. He specialises in due diligence and growth strategy, across all consumer and retail sectors. At Kurt Salmon he was a senior partner and led the firm's private equity and strategy practice. Previously, he was a partner with Bain & Company. Dart will be based in AT Kearney's San Francisco office.
Hooper has more than 25 years of experience working alongside private equity investors and consumer industry leaders on growth strategy development, portfolio company performance improvements, and due diligence efforts. At Kurt Salmon he was a partner in its private equity and strategy practice and he also served as vice chairman of the firm's global partner board. Previously, Hooper was managing director and chief financial officer of Swander Pace & Company before it merged with Kurt Salmon Associates in 2000.
"We continue to attract rare, senior talent to AT Kearney as our growth and our aspiration to be the most admired consulting firm are increasingly recognised in the marketplace. Our new colleagues are indicative of our focus on creating not just immediate impact but growing advantage for our clients," says Daniel Mahler, partner and head of AT Kearney's Americas region.
