Kirkland & Ellis has advised CD Capital, a London-based specialist natural resources and mining private equity manager, on the closing of the CD Capital Natural Resources Fund III.
The fund was closed with aggregate capital commitments of USD355 million.
The fund, which will make investments in global natural resources and mining companies and projects, accepted commitments from a broad mix of global institutional investors, including endowments, foundations, family offices and fund of funds.
The Kirkland team was led by London-based investment funds partner Christopher Braunack and associates Jennifer Feng and Aisling Campbell and New York-based tax partner David Grenker.
