KKR & Co has closed its previously-announced acquisition of the remaining 37% of Global Atlantic, increasing its ownership of the insurance company, which caters for both individual and institutional clients, to 100% in the process.
KKR has acted as Global Atlantic’s asset manager since acquiring a majority stake in the business in 2021.
Global Atlantic will continue to be led by its management team and operate under the Global Atlantic brand.
