Kroll, an independent provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, has appointed Alan Booth as Managing Director and Head of the firm’s Agency and Trustee Services practice, which provides flexible, efficient services to the global loan and bond markets.
Booth, who is based in London and brings two decades of expertise in the financial services industry, is a qualified English Solicitor and a licensed attorney with the New York State Bar. He has gained significant leadership experience n previous roles at both Ocorian and Deutsche Bank, as well as expertise in corporate trust and agency, corporate services and fund administration.

From its inception as Lucid Agency and Trustee Services in 2017, Kroll’s Agency and Trustee Services practice has grown to boast 700-plus deals. The founders, Emma Foster (nee Hamley), John Traynor and Paul Barton, remain an integral part of our leadership team and will work closely with Booth as he transitions into his new role.

Alan Booth, Managing Director, Head of Agency and Trustee Services, Kroll – Alan Booth is a managing director and the head of the Agency and Trustee Services practice, based in London. Alan has over 18 years of experience in legal and financial services. He is a qualified English Solicitor and a licensed attorney with the New York State Bar. Prior to joining Kroll, Alan was the global head of capital markets at Ocorian, a global fiduciary and corporate services provider. Throughout his tenure at Ocorian, Alan oversaw significant growth in both the UK business and the Capital Markets service line through both strong organic growth and several acquisitions. Alan started his career by spending three years in private practice at a boutique law firm associated with Rathbones in Jersey Channel Islands. He then moved to Deutsche Bank in 2009, where he held several roles in both the Corporate Services Division and Deutsche’s Trust and Agency Services. Alan holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the National University of Ireland, Galway. Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in commercial and corporate law from the University College London.
