Lazard has appointed Suresh Vasan as a Managing Director in the firm’s Private Capital Advisory’s Private Capital Solutions Group, effective immediately. He is based in Houston.
“Suresh brings over two decades of experience in global principal investing in the energy industry,” says Holcombe Green, Managing Director and Global Head of Secondary Advisory, Lazard. “He will be a valuable addition to our team as the secondary and direct private placement market continues to grow in size and scope.”
Previously, Vasan served more than 11 years with GE Energy Financial Services, where he was most recently a Managing Director leading midstream equity investments. Prior to that, he served as a lead for Projects & Investments, Americas at Cargill and in various roles at BHP Billiton and Enron.
