Lazard appoints private capital Managing Director in West Coast expansion

Lazard, a global financial advisory and asset management firm, has appointed Jennifer Tedesko as a Managing Director within the Private Capital Advisory (PCA) business, with a focus on private equity secondary opportunities.

According to a press release, Tedesko, who brings more than 25 years of private equity advisory and fundraising experience, will be based in San Francisco.

Prior to Lazard, Tedesko sourced and executed primary fundraisings and secondary transactions as Managing Director at Campbell Lutyens. Before that, she spent 14 years as a Partner at Atlantic Pacific Capital, where she focused on private capital advisory, project management, and origination.

Tedesko started her career in the San Francisco-based Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette’s Private Fund Group and was one of the first employees at Probitas Partners.

The firm has also added a private equity-focused Director, and recently transferred a PCA professional – who will focus on private equity transaction management – from the firm’s London office.

These additions are part of the firm’s long-term growth strategy, which includes plans to strengthen its West Coast hub in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
