Mid-market private equity provider LDC has strengthened its Bristol-based operation with the appointment of Simon Hemley as an investment director.
Hemley joins LDC after eight years at Gresham Private Equity.
During his private equity career, Hemley has led and managed numerous investments. His most recent achievements included the successful exits of 7city, a financial services training business, and LAS, an insurance claims management business, together with an investment in IND, a debt collection business.
As part of his new role at LDC, Hemley will be responsible for identifying potential investment opportunities, supporting portfolio companies and expanding the private equity partner’s existing network of contacts across the South West region.
