Funds associated with Lightyear Capital (Lightyear), a New York-based private equity firm focused on financial services, have acquired a controlling stake in Lighthouse Technologies Holdings Corp (Lighthouse), a specialist in technology-enabled eDiscovery, compliance and information governance.
Several existing investors and the senior management team will remain committed shareholders as part of this transaction. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1995, Lighthouse provides end-to-end software and services to help compliance and legal teams manage enterprise data and the eDiscovery process. The Company enables legal and compliance teams to fully understand their data in response to incidents like litigation and government investigations and in designing programs to proactively uncover the potential for future incidents. Lighthouse clients include Fortune 100 companies in highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and technology. The Company is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with additional offices in San Francisco, New York, Phoenix, London and Zurich.
