UK mid-market private equity firm Limerston Capital has acquired DigitalXRAID, a leading managed security service provider (MSSP), as it continues to build out its cyber security platform.
The deal marks the firm’s second acquisition in the sector within two months, following the addition of CyberCrowd in May.
The addition of DigitalXRAID strengthens the Group’s capabilities across cyber consultancy, penetration testing, and incident response, while significantly enhancing its Security Operations Centre (SOC) offering and other managed services.
The combined platform is positioned to deliver end-to-end cyber resilience solutions across both private and public sectors, including organisations that form part of the UK’s critical national infrastructure.
The move also supports Limerston Capital’s strategy to scale through both organic growth and targeted acquisitions, with the aim of becoming a leading provider of cyber security and digital forensics services in the UK.
With a broadened suite of technical capabilities and sector accreditations, the Group is also expected to become an increasingly attractive hub for top-tier cyber and digital talent.
