US private investment firm Littlejohn & Co has hired Farrukh Bezar as an Operating Advisor. Bezar joins from his role as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at CSX Corporation, a US holding company focused on rail transportation and real estate.
In his new role, Bezar will work closely with the firm’s transportation and logistics team to identify investment opportunities and support its logistics portfolio companies in refining go-to-market strategies, driving growth and improving profitability.
Prior to CSX, Bezar founded and led Lynwood Partners, a transportation and logistics advisory firm.
Bezar currently serves on the boards of Magnate Worldwide, a Littlejohn & Co portfolio company, STG and the Northwestern Transportation Advisory Board.
