Global private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) is investing in cleversoft Group, a pan-European provider of regulatory software solutions to the financial services industry in partnership with founder Florian Clever and the firm’s management team.
Terms of the transaction, which will see cleversoft’s previous financial sponsor Main Capital Partners exit its investment, have not been disclosed. This is the fourth platform investment for the LLCP Lower Middle Market Fund III.
Founded in 2004, cleversoft helps more than 700 global banks, asset managers, and insurers to efficiently navigate the ever-changing regulatory environment and ensure compliance. Headquartered in Munich, cleversoft has more than 150 employees with additional offices in Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria.
cleversoft will continue to be led by Clever and the existing management team.
