LLR Partners expands investment team with four hires

LLR Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm with more than USD1.4 billion under management, has announced four additions to the firm. Jack Slye joins LLR as a Vice President, Irene Lisyansky and Brian Berkin come on as Senior Associates, and Scott Williams will serve as a Senior Analyst.

“We are very fortunate to continue to attract experienced, bright talent to the LLR team,” says Mitchell Hollin (pictured), Partner at LLR Partners. “Most importantly, our new colleagues will add to the collaborative culture we have created. As our investment activity increases, we are eager to capitalize on their knowledge and expertise and look forward to working with them.”

With more than six years of private equity experience, Jack Slye joins LLR Partners as a Vice President, responsible for managing the firm’s consumer and education services practice. Slye previously served as a Principal with Sterling Partners, where he specialized in consumer, education, and health care investments. During his tenure at Sterling, Slye also served as the Chief Operating Officer for Sylvan Learning’s National Learning Centers.

As Senior Associates, Irene Lisyansky and Brian Berkin will focus on the firm’s business services and financial services practices, respectively. Before joining LLR, Lisyansky worked as a Senior Analyst in the Consumer and Technology Groups of General Atlantic, and as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Deutsche Bank Asset Management. Berkin was previously an Associate at RoundTable Healthcare Partners, and has also served as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse.

Scott Williams will serve as a Senior Analyst for LLR, focusing primarily on the firm’s business services practice. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst in the Technology Group of Stifel, Nicolaus & Company.
