Loyens & Loeff, lawyers, tax advisers and civil law notaries, has appointed Barbara Voskamp as a partner in its Singapore office.

Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff Barbara worked at EY as tax partner in the International Tax Department. As head of the European desk she assisted ASEAN based companies with tax matters in respect of their European holdings and, as coordinating partner, advised European companies on their tax matters throughout ASEAN.
Willem Jarigsma, Managing Partner, says: “We are confident that with Barbara we will be even better placed to service the increasing number of Asian clients that invest in or through our home market in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. In addition Barbara’s expertise and experience will enable us to also better assist our clients on their cross-border investments and structures into Asia. Barbara is a great addition to our team in Singapore and I congratulate her on her appointment.”
Voskamp also worked with Loyens & Loeff in the period 2004 to 2009. After leaving Loyens & Loeff she opened her own firm in Singapore “VoskampLawyers” which became part of EY in 2015. She has extensive experience with various international tax issues, including finance and acquisition structures, cash repatriation, (vendor) due diligence, tax rulings and private placements.
