Main Capital Partners acquires majority stake in IDP software provider Whitevision

Software investor Main Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Whitevision, a Dutch provider of intelligent document processing software. 

Whitevision was founded in 2005 and is based in Breda. It serves more than 1,600 customers across construction & installation, professional services, technology, logistics and the automotive industries. 

Main’s investment is intended to support improvements to Whitevision’s products and international expansion.  

Sjoerd Aarts, Managing Partner at Main Capital Partners, commented: “Intelligent document processing and the broader markets of enterprise information management and business process management are domains in which Main has developed a great level of expertise. The increasing need for the digitisation and automation of processes, as well as cross-border eProcurement opportunities, are expected to drive the growth of this market in the upcoming years.” 

Main Capital Partners has approximately €6bn in AUM and operates in the Benelux, DACH, the Nordics and the US, with an active portfolio of over 45 software companies. The firm has 75 employees located in The Hague, Düsseldorf, Stockholm and Antwerp, as well as an affiliated office in Boston. Its Main Social Institute supports students with grants and scholarships to study IT and Computer Science at technical universities and universities of applied sciences.
