Main Capital Partners has exited Paragin Group, a provider of exam & assessment software solutions, to ECI Partners. Since Main’s initial investment in 2021, Paragin has expanded its international footprint, with an increased presence across the Benelux region.
Located in the Netherlands, the company employs approximately 120 professionals representing more than 20 nationalities, who together serve approximately 1,250 end customers across Europe and beyond.
Paragin provides a suite of software solutions that support exam & assessment workflows, serving a range of end-markets including vocational and higher education, exam institutions, and commercial education providers.
Main says that ECI’s investment will support Paragin in accelerating its next phase of international growth. M&A will reportedly continue to be a focus of the business’s growth strategy, following successful acquisitions of Sowiso (2022), Coachview (2023), and Xebic (2024). ECI was advised on the transaction by Arma Partners and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
