Private equity firm OpenGate Capital’s portfolio company, SMAC, a French provider of waterproofing and building envelope solutions, has completed the full exit of its manufacturing division, Industrie, with the sale of its Resins business unit to MAPEI, an Italian leader in the production of adhesives and chemical products for the building industry. The Resins business unit includes resin manufacturer, Resipoly and Services, and installation specialist, Eurosyntec. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Praetura Group (Praetura), a North West UK-based debt and equity capital provider to small and medium sized businesses, has reported a record GBP253 million year as demand for its equity and debt services continues to grow. The Group’s lending division, which comprises Praetura Asset Finance, Praetura Commercial Finance, Praetura Invoice Finance and Kingsway Finance, finished the previous year on a GBP123 million loanbook. Golub Capital has announced record originations for both the fourth quarter of 2021 and the full year. Garnett Station Partners (Garnett Station), a New York-based principal investment firm founded in 2013 by Matt Perelman and Alex Sloane that manages approximately USD1 billion of assets, has partnered with founder Michael Ho, CEO Robert McKinley and the management team to recapitalise and provide growth capital for Mambo Seafood (Mambo), a Houston-based Hispanic restaurant brand. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.   Mambo Seafood was founded in 1996 by Michael Ho.
