Caltius Equity Partners has sold its equity interest in Impact Facility Services to Boston-based Audax Private Equity.
Impact is Caltius Equity’s third investment in the facilities services sector.
Impact is a provider of integrated fire and life safety services, including complementary self-perform and vendor-managed operations. During its ownership, Caltius Equity partnered with Impact’s management to expand operations through three strategic acquisitions, build a management team, and invest in technology to drive efficiencies and increase the company’s growth trajectory.

UK mid-market private equity investor LDC has backed the secondary buyout of Addo Food Group, a chilled savoury pastry producer, in a transaction that marks an exit for Vision Capital.
LDC has invested to support Addo’s growth strategy, which will include further investment in product innovation, expansion into new markets through organic growth and potential acquisitions in adjacent markets.

Conway Investment Research has acquired operational control of the Guggenheim Alternatives Platform from GP Feeder Fund Management.
The platform, which provides qualified investors access to global alternative investment solutions, is now known as the Conway Alternatives Platform.

Audax Private Equity has partnered with management to acquire Impact Facility Services, d/b/a Academy Fire Life Safety, from Caltius Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Academy, headquartered in Maspeth, NY and Long Beach, CA, is a provider of fire and life safety services to national, regional, and local customers across retail, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and other end markets. Academy offers inspection, service, customised work orders, and installation for fire alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and other fire suppression systems.

Synpromics, a synthetic promoter and gene control company, has completed a financing round of GBP5.2 million led by existing investors Calculus Capital, the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise and private shareholders.
