Sunshine Heart has acquired the Aquadex product line from an indirect subsidiary of Baxter International, a specialist in the hospital products and dialysis markets.
The Aquadex system is indicated for temporary (up to eight hours) ultrafiltration treatment of patients with fluid overload who have failed diuretic therapy, and extended (longer than eight hours) ultrafiltration treatment of patients with fluid overload who have failed diuretic therapy and require hospitalisation.

Investcorp is selling Crisps Topco Limited (Tyrrells) to Amplify Snack Brands for an enterprise value of GBP300 million.
Founded at Tyrrells Court Farm, Herefordshire in 2002, Tyrrells is a manufacturer of hand-cooked potato and vegetable crisps, popcorn and other savoury snacks.

The Scottish Loan Fund (SLF) and Maven have exited their investment in Cumbernauld-based Spaceright Europe, a manufacturer and supplier of furniture, presentation products, toys and activity equipment for the education sector.
Spaceright’s range of products is used in nurseries, schools and universities throughout the UK.

Partners Group is to acquire global IT support services provider Systems Maintenance Services (SMS) on behalf of its clients.
SMS is being sold by funds affiliated with Thomas H Lee Partners (THL) and Summit Partners.
The terms of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1981, US-based SMS is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and provides IT infrastructure services to a client base of more than 3,000 businesses. CVC Credit Partners has acquired Northport Capital TRS (Northport) from Resource Capital Corp througgh a partnership managed by CVC Credit Partners, supported by a fund advised by Coller Capital.
This will increase assets under management in CVC Credit Partners’ global direct lending strategy to approximately USD1 billion and complement its existing European strategy. WFW advised Nordwind and its fellow investors on the drafting and signing of the participation agreement, as well as on the implementation of the participation and capital increase in Iran.
