Abcodia has raised GBP5.25 million funding from existing and new investors to bring the world’s most sensitive and specific ovarian cancer screening test, ROCA to market.
The financing was co-led by Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC) and Scottish Equity Partners (SEP), who join existing investors Albion Ventures and UCL Business. Dr Robert Tansley, from CIC and Jan Rutherford, from SEP have been appointed to Abcodia’s Board.

The amendment to JTC’s permissions by the FinancialJTC Will Cameron Conduct Authority (a ‘Variation of Part 4A Permission’) means that JTC is now authorised to act as an operator of unregulated collective investment schemes (UCIS) in the UK.

The New Zealand Private Equity and Venture Capital Monitor, released today, recorded the highest value of mid-market deals (investment and divestment) in the twelve years of the Monitor and the highest number of deals since 2008.
The level of deals with disclosed values increased to NZD243.5m from NZD191.5m in 2013.

Private investment firm Centerbridge Partners has completed the acquisition of Great Wolf Resorts from funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management. The acquisition was announced in March 2015.
