Maven Capital Partners (Maven), has invested a further GBP500,000 in GENinCode, a genetic testing company specialising in the risk assessment and prediction of cardiovascular disease.  This funding package comes as the company completes its IPO, raising an additional GBP17 million gross and listing on AIM with a market capitalisation of GBP42.2 million. An affiliate of Arlington Capital Partners (Arlington), a Washington, DC-area private equity firm, is to acquire L3Harris Technologies’ (NYSE:LHX) Electron Devices and Narda Microwave-West divisions. The agreement is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. After closing, the Company will operate independently as Stellant Systems (Stellant) and will be a standalone platform for Arlington in the defence electronics market. Ridgemont Equity Partners, a middle market private equity investor, has made an investment in Sparus Holdings (Sparus), a provider of outsourced field and professional services for utility and industrial customers.  Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Sparus and its subsidiaries, Southern Cross and The Spear Group, provide a complementary suite of field and professional services to customers across utility, industrial, and pharmaceutical end markets. DigitalEd has secured a growth investment from PSG, a growth equity firm partnering with middle-market software and technology-enabled services companies.  DigitalEd provides a SaaS-based digital learning platform called Möbius, focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. Coller Capital and Ping An Overseas Holdings has closed one of the world’s largest private credit secondaries transactions for a credit portfolio managed by Ping An, together with its subsidiaries – the main offshore investment and asset management platform of Ping An Insurance Company of China. The deal will close on 30th July 2021. Lonsdale Capital Partners (Lonsdale), a private equity firm focused on the lower mid-market, has completed the sale of Cross Rental Services (CRS) to Elysian Capital LLP and Company Management, creating a significant return for Lonsdale, the founding shareholders and management.  This comes in the same week that Lonsdale announced the sale of Charles Cameron & Associates, bringing its total number of exits this year to four.   CRS is a provider of Refrigeration & Catering and Climate Control rental equipment to blue-chip customers across a diverse range of end markets, including retail, manufacturing and facilities management. KB Associates (KBA), a professional services firm advising investment funds and asset managers, has completed its acquisition of EFG Fund Management, a Luxembourg-based management company and subsidiary of EFG International AG, the Swiss Private Banking Group (EFG).  The transaction was agreed in February 2021 and has now been completed after receiving regulatory clearance. KBA specialises in the provision of management company, governance and compliance services to investment funds and asset managers. Founded in 2003, Dublin-headquartered KBA also has offices in London, Cayman Islands, Malta and now Luxembourg. KBA has over 80 consultants and works    with over 250 asset management
