Golding Capital Partners has has held first close of its co-investment fund, Golding Buyout Co-Investment 2020, with capital commitments of EUR161 million.
The asset manager for alternative investments has thus been able to place three quarters of the target volume of EUR200 million with investors – primarily pension funds and insurance companies – within just a few months. With its first dedicated buyout co-investment fund Golding is seamlessly following on from the fund-raising success of previous buyout products. At the beginning of the year “Golding Buyout 2018” held its final close with a record volume of EUR375 million.

Align Capital Partners’ (ACP) environmental testing and compliance platform Alliance Technical Group (Alliance) has acquired Horizon Air Measurement Services (Horizon).
Headquartered in Camarillo, California, Horizon provides source emission (or stack) testing services to customers across the Western United States.
Acquiring Horizon adds the talent necessary to continue the expansion of all Alliance service lines in the region.

Private equity firm August Equity has completed a strategic investment in Integrity360, one of the UK and Ireland’s fastest growing cyber security specialists, as part of a significant growth and expansion plan.
In addition to the investment funding, Integrity360 founder and CEO Eoin Goulding is partnering with Ian Brown, who joins the company as Executive Chairman, with Goulding taking on the new role of President. Brown, an established entrepreneur and industry veteran has been running technology businesses for over 25 years, including most recently SecureData, the leading UK cyber security services business acquired by Orange in 2019.

MetaProp, the New York-based PropTech venture capital firm, today announced the closing of its latest real estate technology seed fund. The oversubscribed USD100 million MetaProp Ventures III, LP (Fund III) is more than two and a half times the size of MetaProp’s second fund, which closed at USD40 million in 2018.

Foresight Group, a leading sustainable infrastructure and private equity investment manager, has appointed technology company Sennen to digitise its entire portfolio of sustainable infrastructure, worth around GBP6.1 billion.
Foresight started the digitalisation process with Sennen 12 months ago, beginning with its sustainable energy assets which are located globally.

Alter Domus, a fully integrated provider of fund administration, debt capital markets and corporate services backed by the Permira funds, has acquired Investors Economic Assurance (IEA), a global provider of technology solutions and services to alternative investment managers. The Manhattan-based firm specialises in capital administration solutions including Limited Partners’ waterfall calculations and General Partners’ carried-interest allocations.

GI Partners has closed the GI Partners Fund VI, with USD3.9 billion in total commitments. The oversubscribed fund includes a broad group of global investors and surpassed its target of USD3.25 billion, as well as exceeded its prior Fund V raise of USD2.8 billion in 2017.
Milton Keynes-based adam HTT, which facilitates the delivery of public sector contracts, has secured a GBP5 million investment from alternative lender BOOST&Co.
The business plans to use the GBP5 million term loan to accelerate the roll-out of its in-house “early payment” facility, which will support the 2,000 suppliers already on the adam HTT platform, by giving them easier access to working capital.
