Adenia, a private markets investment firm in Africa, has finalised the sale of its 100 per cent equity stake in Ademat to SPE Capital, a private equity firm focused on Africa and the Middle East.
Founded in Abidjan in 1983, Ademat is the leading provider of power security solutions in Côte d’Ivoire. It provides a wide range of technical solutions for companies in various industries, including telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality.

A Yorkshire company which manufactures personalised pet food using only natural ingredients has secured a multi-million pound investment to accelerate its growth.
Pure Pet Food has raised the funds from Mercia’s Northern Venture Capital Trust (VCT) Funds and NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund. The latest funding round follows a GBP2 million investment by the Northern VCTs in 2019 and will allow the Cleckheaton-based company to continue to support its ambitious growth plans and development of its software as a service (SaaS) platform and data capabilities.

MidCap Financial, a credit solutions firm focused on serving the middle market, has raised USD875 million through the issuance of its debut senior unsecured bond transaction, with the proceeds set to be used to refinance existing debt.
The transaction priced at the tight end of talk and was upsized by USD50 million as a result of the favorable outcome. JP Morgan Securities served as Lead Left Bookrunner. Joint Bookrunners included Apollo Global Securities, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank Securities, and Wells Fargo Securities.

Infrastructure investment firm Ventus and Singapore company Sky Logistica Pte Ltd have acquired Prague-based Skyport, a central European air cargo infrastructure company.
Skyport is the leading cargo handler at Prague Airport in the Czech Republic and also has operations in Bratislava and Košice, both in Slovakia.
Skyport operates in a modern semi-automated airside facility and processes more than half of all air cargo passing through Prague Airport.
The airside cargo handling facility in which Skyport operates was acquired by Singapore-headquartered Elite Logistics Fund in connection with the acquisition of Skyport by Ventus and Sky Logistica.
