Mid-market private equity firm LDC has backed Wireless CCTV (WCCTV), a supplier of redeployable surveillance solutions, with a GBP30 million investment for a minority stake. Mid-market private equity firm LDC has exited specialist manufacturer ChargePoint Technology (ChargePoint) to US private equity firm Arcline Investment Management (Arcline).  The deal follows a four-year partnership that saw Liverpool-headquartered ChargePoint develop new products and pursue a successful international expansion strategy, accelerating global sales of its highly technical and innovative containment solutions. During its four-year partnership with LDC, ChargePoint increased revenues approximately 30 per cent.   ChargePoint manufactures and delivers enhanced sterile & contained process solutions to companies across Europe, Asia and North America. Gulf Capital has exited its investment in ECDC, an oil & gas drilling and production services provider in the Middle East and Africa.  The company is part of ADES Investments Holding Ltd. which is the major shareholder in ADES International, a publicly listed company on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).   Gulf Capital partnered with the founding shareholders of ECDC and invested in the company in 2014 to finance organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including investments in the energy sector in Egypt. Cairngorm Capital Partners’s (Cairngorm Capital) is pleased to announce that its portfolio company, Grant & Stone Group (Grant & Stone), has completed the acquisitions of RGB Building Supplies, Buildit Gloster and Total Plumbing Supplies, to create one of the largest independent builders’ merchant groups in southern England.  The new enlarged group will have 74 branches stretching from West London to Cornwall, over 1,000 employees and combined revenues approaching GBP250 million. BCF Equity Partners has acquired Peterborough-based pump specialist, Hydromarque in a deal totalling GBP2.7 million. Hydromarque is an exclusive UK distributor of Gorman-Rupp, Cornell and Wallwin pumps across a range of industries including water and food production. Following acquisition, BCF is now looking to significantly grow the business and increase market share as the pump industry moves away from submersible products towards above ground pumps. The acquisition was supported by Shawbrook Bank via a GBP1.4 million commercial loan. Atwater Capital (Atwater), an alternative investment manager that invests in the media and entertainment industry, has closed on a long-term debt facility with its portfolio company wiip, an independent studio.  The agreement, which brings Atwater to over USD100 million in invested capital since inception in 2017, extends its track record of providing equity or debt finance to support creative businesses in their development. TVM Capital Healthcare, a specialist healthcare private equity firm operating in emerging markets, has sold its portfolio company Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center (CMRC) to UAE-based publicly traded investment company, Amanat Holdings PJSC.  CMRC is a leading post-acute care and rehabilitation services provider in the MENA region. TVM Capital Healthcare has a long track record of successfully investing in and growing specialty care companies with investment and operation teams in the MENA region and Southeast Asia. Chartered financial planning firm Fairstone has completed a deal with global private equity house TA Associates which sees funds advised by TA take a significant stake in the business.  TA Associates, which has raised USD33.5 billion in capital since its inception, invests in profitable, dynamic companies around the world that demonstrate opportunities for strong sustainable growth.   This investment, for which the underlying valuation is not being disclosed, is the central aspect of a triple-boost for Fairstone. Current private equity backers Synova are also reinvesting into the group whilst current funders Alcentra has also increased the scale of the acquisition
