BGF – the UK’s most active investor – has invested GBP6 million in global animation studio, Snipple, to support its ambitious growth plans to develop its own IP and content. BGF will take a minority share.Under the leadership of London based CEO Kaine Pate, Snipple Animation has worked consistently with some of the biggest broadcast networks globally, including Netflix, Warner Bros, Disney, Dreamworks and Nickelodeon.

Infrastructure and private equity investment manager Foresight Group has held an interim close for Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (FEIP) with commitments of cEUR430 million. Including co-investments to date, this represents a total capital pool in excess of EUR600 million.
This close sees new investment from Postens Pensionsstiftelse, investment manager of the Swedish National Post Service, and a US-based institutional investor alongside the first close commitments of EUR342 million announced in January 2020. In April this year, Foresight signed advisory agreements with nine co-investors for the acquisition of the 231MW Skaftåsen wind project in Sweden (announced April 2020).

Collectia has completed the acquisition of German company Dr Duve Inkasso (DDI), a provider of debt collection services in Germany focusing on the private medical and professional services sectors. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
DDI was founded in 1990 and is based in Hanover, Germany. The Company is a specialist collection business focusing on the medical sector with clients such as vets, dentists, doctors, clinicians and other medical practitioners. DDI also has a strong presence in the professional services sector. DDI employs 21 staff and has a current portfolio of over 40,000 cases accounting for in excess of EUR
Mid-market private equity firm Inflexion is to make a significant minority investment in Digital Wholesale Solutions (DWS), an independent IT, communications and cloud wholesale platform, which is currently part of the Daisy Group. The investment is being made by Inflexion’s dedicated minority investment fund, Partnership Capital II. As part of the transaction, DWS will be demerged from Daisy Group with the majority of the shareholders of Daisy Group reinvesting directly into DWS. The transaction values DWS at an enterprise valuation of GBP1 billion.
