IK Investment Partners (IK) is pleased to announce that the IK Small Cap II Fund has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in You Sure Investments BV from Synergia Capital Partners (Synergia). Financial terms of the transaction, which is subject to AFM clearance, have not been disclosed.
You Sure is a leading Dutch insurance distribution platform, providing insurance to small businesses and individuals. Operating mainly in the Property and Casualty (P&C) segment, You Sure acts both as an insurance broker and a Managing General Agent (MGA), and currently serves over 60,000 customers.

Kirkland & Ellis has advised Avanti Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that will target European businesses with a strong US nexus, in connection with its USD600 million IPO. The SPAC was sponsored by NNS Group, the investment group founded by entrepreneur Nassef Sawiris, and Sienna Capital, the alternative investment platform of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL). Avanti Acquisition’s shares began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol AVAN on 2 October, 2020.
