Light Wave Dental Management (Light Wave), a portfolio company of middle market private equity firm Alpine Investors (Alpine), has partnered with dental group CarolinasDentist. CarolinasDentist currently has seven locations based in Fayetteville, NC. Following this partnership, Light Wave has grown from eight to 30 affiliate locations in Virginia and North Carolina over the past two years.   The terms of the private transaction between Light Wave and CarolinasDentist have not been disclosed.   Daniel Cohen, Vice President at Alpine Investors, says: “CarolinasDentist’s high-quality dental practice and patient-first approach makes them a highly complementary fit with Light Wave and Alpine Investors.  
PICO Venture Partners, a Jerusalem-based, early-stage venture capital firm, has closed its second fund with USD80 million in capital commitments. PICO now manages USD130 million across two funds. Squircle Capital, a European alternative investment firm focused on private equity and real estate value-add investments, has acquired 77.5 per cent of Marina Barcelona 92 (MB92). Prestige Funds has listed its second Luxembourg direct lending fund, the Prime Alternative Finance Fund (PRALTF), on Euronext Dublin. CVC Strategic Opportunities II is to acquire a 50 per cent stake in DFE Pharma (DFE), a global excipients manufacturer for the pharmaceutical industry. DFE is currently a 50/50 joint venture between dairy companies FrieslandCampina and Fonterra.
