Maple Park Capital, a Dallas and New York-based private equity firm focused on investment in businesses across the experience-driven services economy, has appointed Robert Zell as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
Zell brings over two decades of experience in finance, operations, and compliance at investment management firms, most recently serving as COO and CCO at Alta Fox Capital Management.
Throughout his career, he has built operational and compliance infrastructure from the ground up at multiple firms, including Dalpha Capital Management, where he built the operational and compliance infrastructure for the investment firm. Earlier in his career, he led operational due diligence efforts at Memorial Hermann Health System and for Crestline Investors’ first Opportunities Fund.
Zell also served as a Vice President at Rock Island Capital, covering fund operations, portfolio monitoring, and was the firm’s first Chief Compliance Officer. He began his career in accounting roles at two Warburg Pincus-backed portfolio companies.
Zell holds a BBA from Baylor University, an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and is a licensed CPA.
