Maples Fund Services appoints North American Head of Business Development

Maples Fund Services, an independent global fund services provider and division of MaplesFS, has appointed Brendan Tyne as Head of Business Development for North America.

Tyne brings over 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. He was most recently the Managing Director of the North American business of a global private equity and real estate fund administrator. Prior to that, he held various sales and relationship management positions, focusing on capital raising and managing institutional and high net worth client relationships for hedge fund and fund-of-funds managers. He received a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs from Lafayette College and holds an MBA from Columbia University.

The addition of Tyne comes on the heels of continued growth of Maples Fund Services globally. The firm’s expert teams and award-winning technology provide clients with high-quality service that can be customised to address their specific needs. As a result of this approach, Maples Fund Services now counts more than USD76 billion in assets under administration and continues to build its portfolio of hedge fund, private equity and institutional investor clients. Tyne will work closely with Tyler Kim, Global Head of Maples Fund Services, to drive the growth of the fund administration business across North America, including its offices in Boston, Montreal, New York, and San Francisco.

“Brendan brings a wealth of industry knowledge and practical experience that will immediately enhance our value proposition to clients,” says Kim. “Through the design and delivery of innovative solutions, we will further expand our business in North America and continue to evolve our service offering to address emerging needs.”
