Marlborough Partners announces the appointment of Fredrik Rydin as a Senior Advisor for the Nordic region, based in Stockholm. Rydin has been involved in the private equity and leveraged credit markets in the Nordics for over two decades.
In his highly successful career as a lawyer, Rydin has specialised in leveraged finance transactions and advised many of the leading private equity firms and debt providers in the region. He spent 15 years at Roschier, a leading Nordic law firm, rising to be the Managing Partner and then Chairman for the last six years of his tenure.
Since leaving Roschier in 2022, Rydin has run his own advisory firm.
Prior to joining Roschier, he was a partner at Linklaters in Stockholm.
Rydin will work with Riku Niemelä, Marlborough Partners Head of Nordics, to strengthen the firm’s support of pan-European sponsors focusing on Nordic deals. The firm has been extremely active in the Nordics and has completed four deals in the last six months, advising clients including Investcorp, DevCo, and EMK Capital in the region.
