Maven Capital Partners, one of the UK’s most active private equity houses, has made three new appointments to its investment team in Scotland – Investment Managers Victoria McLaren and Craig McGill, and Investment Associate James Warner.
McLaren and McGill will lead on deal origination and execution, with a focus on Scottish deals and opportunities for the IFS Fund, while Warner will support the growing deal team as the firm continue to back companies across Scotland.
McLaren is a qualified corporate lawyer, specialising in M&A, private equity, venture capital and early-stage investment work. Her deal experience spans a wide variety of industry sectors and involved cross-border transactions, particularly in the technology, life sciences and software sectors.
McGill is a qualified chartered accountant with corporate finance experience across a number of sectors and transactions, including building products, haulage & logistics, specialist engineering, aquaculture, whisky and sport tech.
Warner who has joined Maven from EY, is also a qualified chartered accountant with broad experience in external audit, business assurance, valuations, accounting, tax compliance, reporting and analysis.
