Venture capital fund manager Mercia Fund Management (MFM) has appointed Talon Golding to head up sales and investor relations.
Golding (pictured) will be responsible for the continued growth of funds under management whilst strengthening relationships with the increasing number of investors and their advisors.
Prior to joining MFM, Golding was sales manager at Scion Investment Group, leading the asset raising for its tax efficient investment offering. Before that he was a broker with Welbeck Wealth Management working directly with high net worth individuals.
"It's a privilege to join the growing team at Mercia Fund Management,” says Golding. “The strength of their cumulative experience combined with superior deal flow and a truly client centric investment process, makes the MFM proposition highly attractive for investors and advisors alike."

The new appointment is part of MFM’s ongoing expansion, with former SEGA chief executive Mike Hayes recently joining to head up the VC fund manager’s new digital and e-commerce division.
Mark Payton, managing director of Mercia Fund Management, says: “Talon's appointment into a growing team is a positive reflection of our successful portfolio of funds under management. He will ensure that our investors and advisors benefit from timely and continuous investor communications.”
