QualiTech, a global manufacturer of value-added ingredient solutions for food, animal nutrition and agronomy customers, and a portfolio company of private equity firm MidOcean Partners, has appointed Rick Pedersen, previously President of Ornua Ingredients North America, as CEO.
QualiTech has been owned by MidOcean, which specialises in mid-sized PE and alternative credit investments, since June 2023.
Pedersen has over 20 years of experience in the speciality ingredients industry which will “help to accelerate QualiTech’s trajectory and reinforce its position as an industry leader in the ingredients market,” according to a press release.
Prior to his role at Ornua Ingredients North America, a processed dairy business, Pedersen was President and CEO of Agrana Fruit North America, as well as past executive and leadership roles at Fonterra, Nestlé and Novartis Consumer Health.
