MidOcean Partners (MidOcean), a New York-based alternative asset manager focused on mid-market private equity, structured capital, and alt credit investments, has appointed Jon Fox, former President of Värde, as Global Head of Capital Formation.
Fox brings several decades of leadership and alternative asset management experience that will help enhance and expand MidOcean’s investor relationships globally, and position the firm to continue to meet investors’ evolving needs.
In addition to Fox’s nearly 11 years of experience at Värde, where he was also previously Head of the New York office, he has held senior roles at Fortress Investment Group and Lehman Brothers. Fox spent over a decade of his time at these firms while based in London, where he had the opportunity to work with investors across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His experience has crossed nearly every alternative asset class in both private markets and liquid strategies, and he has helped launch and grow investment businesses and funds in nearly every major region across the globe.
