As part of the implementation of its 2030 strategic roadmap, Mirova has appointed Raphaël Lance to Head up a new real assets platform comprising the firm’s Energy Transition Infrastructure, Natural Capital and Private Equity businesses.
The new structure which will be operational from 1 January 2025, sees Lance retain his current role as Head of Energy Transition Infrastructure Funds, and keep the chairmanship of the funds’ investment committee. The Natural Capital and Private Equity businesses will remain under the direct responsibility of Anne-Laurence Roucher, who will report to Lance.
According to a press statement, the consolidation of Mirova’s unlisted activities onto an integrated platform will enable the company to “maintain its cutting-edge expertise, while taking a comprehensive strategic view of this asset class. This combination marks a major step forward in line with the company’s ambition to become a leader in the impact private assets sector”.
