MMC invests GBP1.3m in Clash-Media

Clash-Media, an online lead generation service, has secured a further GBP1.3m investment from MMC Ventures.

Clash-Media now has offices in the UK, US, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and France, and this latest investment will help fund expansion into Spain and Italy.
 
MMC has provided Clash-Media with growth capital since June 2007 and this funding round takes its total investment to over GBP4.9m.

Clash-Media is committed to developing technology, such as its data quality module designed to eradicate fraudulent leads. The MMC investment will enable it to continue its programme of development, including an international email delivery platform to maximise inbox delivery rates.
 
Ben Richardson, investment manager for MMC, says: ‘Clash-Media is well positioned in this market as it allows its customers to clearly measure return on marketing spend. Last year the business grew at over 100 pc per annum and we think this is a good time to be investing in growth businesses – we are delighted to support Clash-Media with further funding to enable its next growth phase.’
 
Simon Wajcenberg, chief executive of Clash-Media, says: ‘Since our launch in 2006 we have experienced phenomenal growth both across Europe, where the online lead generation market is in its infancy, and in the US where it is far more established.’
