Ochre House, the recruitment process outsourcing and talent management business backed by NBGI Private Equity (NBGIPE), has acquired the two strategic resourcing firms in the Middle East and North Africa, TAAHEED and Carmichael Fisher.
The acquisition will significantly expand Ochre House’s international capabilities in response to increasing client demand.
“We are already one of the fastest growing talent management businesses in Europe and Asia and have an established partnership with one of the US’s leading players, Pinstripe,” says Chris Herrmanssen, CEO. “Acquiring the Dubai-based TAAHEED and its sister company, Carmichael Fisher, provides us with a key piece of the jigsaw we need to deliver truly global talent acquisition and management solutions.”
Founded in 2009, TAAHEED works with locally owned and international companies across the Gulf and northern Africa, providing both project based recruitment and full recruitment outsourcing. The TAAHEED team has more than doubled in the past year, while revenues have grown by almost 200% in the same period. Its sister company, Carmichael Fisher, was part of the global Carmichael Fisher group and is the largest executive talent solutions business in the region with sector specialisms in banking and financial services, education, healthcare, construction and transportation, telecommunications, media and technology, and professional services.
Belinda Berkeley (pictured) of NBGIPE says: “We are delighted to support this acquisition, which will further advance Ochre House as a leading worldwide recruitment outsourcing and talent management specialist in what is an exciting and expanding market.”
NBGIPE completed the management buyout of Ochre House in 2006, and since that time Ochre House has grown revenues by more than 40 per cent a year, even during the recession, at a time when the recruitment sector more broadly was suffering.
Ochre House has been named by outsourcing analyst, Nelson Hall, as one of the world’s leading providers of end-to-end recruitment outsourcing. Its clients include Telefonica, Siemens, Agilent Technologies, GE, Juniper Networks, BUPA and United Biscuits. In 2011 Ochre House placed over 7,500 professionals across 40 countries.
