Endless, a private equity investor, has acquired Victoria Plum from TPG Capital. Founded in 2001, Victoria Plum provides a range of predominantly own-branded bathroom products, including bathroom suites, bathroom furniture and accessories. Victoria Plum currently employs more than 300 people and the investment from Endless will support the online bathroom retailer’s continued growth.   Endless has acquired the entire issued share capital of the business for an undisclosed sum and will work with the management team to continue investing in its people, digital and retail experience and expanding its product and services offering.   The transaction was led by Matthew
ACA Compliance Group (ACA) is expanding its European presence with the opening of a new office in Birmingham. The office will allow ACA to offer a full suite of services designed to strengthen and streamline financial services firms’ governance, risk and compliance arrangements.   Key to the services offered from the Birmingham office will be ACA’s Analysis and Review Centre (ARC). The ARC helps to reduce the workload of CCOs and in-house compliance teams by allow them to pass on executional regulatory responsibilities to ACA. This on-demand service aims to provide an efficient, scalable and cost-effective compliance across the UK.
Maven Capital Partners (Maven), one of the UK’s leading SME finance providers, has added to its team with the appointment of James Rosthorn and Dean Cox as Investment Managers. UK mid-market private equity investor Livingbridge has closed the Livingbridge Enterprise 3 fund with total capital commitments of GBP334 million, an increase of 50 per cent on its predecessor fund, Livingbridge Enterprise 2, a 2015 vintage fund. Enterprise 3, which will leverage Livingbridge’s experience, international network and growth acceleration capabilities, will invest in fast growth SMEs primarily in the UK, with an enterprise value of up to GBP50 million across the firm’s sectors: TMT; services; consumer markets; and healthcare and education. iM Global Partner, an investment and development platform focused on acquiring strategic investments in traditional and alternative investment firms in the US, Europe and Asia, has created a new Client Servicing Department dedicated to international distribution. Ingenious’ Infrastructure Ventures EIS Service has invested in Winnow, the technology company behind Winnow Vision, an artificial intelligence tool helping chefs cut food waste in half, as it completes its series B round of funding at USD12 million. Idinvest Partners, aa investor in SMEs across Europe, has anheldnounced the final closing of its third digital fund at EUR350 million, having surpassed its initial fundraising target of EUR300 million. The fund, managed by a team of nine investors, has attracted many new LPs from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
