Middle market private equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) is to merge Anvil International (Anvil), a global designer, manufacturer and provider of products that connect and support piping systems, with Smith-Cooper International (Smith-Cooper), a global designer and provider of branded, high-quality pipes, valves, and fittings.
The realisation represents the second exit from OEP’s USD1.65 billion Fund VI. Financial terms of the private transaction have not been disclosed.

Foresight Group (Foresight) has made a GBP5 million investment into Steamforged Games (Steamforged), a developer and retailer of tabletop games.

Incorporated in 2019, IASG-FS will offer fund services to investment managers. Peterson joins CD&R after a long, successful career driving innovation and improved operational performance across large, global businesses. At Johnson & Johnson, Peterson led the Consumer and Medical Devices businesses and was responsible for the corporation’s global supply chain, as well as its technology strategy and infrastructure. Private equity (PE) investment has boosted revenues in UK businesses by more than 50 per cent in the last five years, according to research by accountancy and business advisory firm BDO.
The 2,000 PE-backed firms in the UK analysed by BDO have generated an additional GBP17 billion in revenues since 2013, representing a 53 per cent increase in turnover from GBP30.7 billion to GBP47.1 billion.
PE investment has also bolstered the UK labour market, with each PE-backed businesses creating on average between five to ten new jobs a year.

Oak, a new private client, corporate services and fund administration group, has acquired International Administration Group (IAG).
Founded in 2000 by Mark Woodall and Alison Simpson, IAG is a specialist fund administration business headquartered in Guernsey with a team of 43 people. IAG delivers bespoke fund administration and depositary services to private equity, open-ended, listed and alternative asset fund structures and will become the centre of fund expertise within the Oak business.
