London-based investment fund, Fuel Ventures, has made a GBP275,000 investment in an online employee referral platform.
Real Links uses its web-based portal to help organisations lower recruitment costs by utilising their employee network, while improving employee engagement and staff retention.
An online platform aimed at helping businesses improve employee referrals and reduce hiring costs has secured GBP275,000 from London-based investment fund, Fuel Ventures.
Real Links works with organisations to improve hiring through their employee network and is the second company to receive investment from Fuel Ventures since raising GBP20 million in its third round.

A fund managed by Horizon Capital is to acquire a minority stake in Ukrainian biscuit producer Yarych.
Yarych is the second largest packaged biscuits producer in Ukraine, holding a 33 per cent share of the packaged biscuits market with its branded Maria, petit beurre and The Crackers biscuits. Yarych was established in 2008, upon acquisition of the factory from Nestle by the Company’s founder, with the Yarych brand launched in 2010.
Yarych is among only a few IFS certified confectionary producers in Ukraine with regulatory approvals in place to enable exports to the European Union.

BNP Paribas Capital Partners (BNPP CP), BNP Paribas Asset Management’s specialist in external alternative manager selection, has launched an investment programme to provide institutional investors with exposure to the European discounted private debt market.
Fundraising is ongoing, with the final target of EUR250 million expected to be reached in 2019.
The investment programme is structured as a closed-ended fund of debt funds, with a lifespan of seven years and an average duration of about two and a half years. It aims to offer investors a net internal rate of return (IRR) of around 9-12 per cent.

McLarens, a global independent insurance services provider has secured an equity investment from Lee Equity Partners.
The transaction is expected to close no later than January 2019, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
