The previous owners are also participating in the share issue, totalling SEK20 million. ARQIS has advised AVS Verkehrssicherung (AVS), a Triton Fund IV company, on the acquisition of Verkehrssicherungen Plank located in Remseck am Neckar, a provider of services for traffic and building site safety. The purchase price has not been disclosed. Verkehrssicherungen Plank GmbH was founded in 1998 and offers services in the areas of traffic and building sites safety in the Stuttgart region and across Germany. In 2012 the company was the first one in Germany to be certified by StrAus-Zert for the general protection of work places. Envision Healthcare Corporation has announced its acquisition by global investment firm KKR. As a result of the completion of the merger, Envision has become a wholly owned subsidiary of funds affiliated with KKR, and Envision stockholders will receive an amount in cash equal to USD46.00 per share of Envision common stock.   As a result of the completion of the merger, shares of Envision’s common stock ceased trading on the NYSE prior to the opening of the NYSE today.
Mayfair-based alternative finance house IW Capital has invested GBP2 million in Eos Leisure, which manufactures and sells its own branded eliquid products (Vapemate, Soda Steam, Directors Cut) into the UK vaping market and provides manufacturing and scientific testing services for other suppliers in vaping and other markets. Catalina Holdings (Bermuda) Ltd (Catalina) announces that it has closed a USD700 million equity capital raise and concluded its shareholder restructuring following receipt of regulatory approvals. Following completion of this transaction, affiliates of Apollo Global Management, together with its consolidated subsidiaries, have become majority shareholders of Catalina, with RenaissanceRe Holdings Limited becoming a minority shareholder alongside Catalina’s management. As part of the shareholder restructuring, the Apollo Funds have committed an additional USD700 million in new equity capital to fund Catalina’s continued growth. Together with existing committed and undrawn equity, this brings Catalina’s total committed and undrawn equity to USD850 million.
Private equity firm Advent International has invested in Manjushree Technopack Ltd, India’s largest rigid plastic packaging solution provider, in partnership with the founding Kedia family. As part of the transaction, Advent purchased all the shares owned by Kedaara Capital and a portion of the Kedia family’s stake in Manjushree Technopack.   Manjushree’s Founder and Managing Director, Vimal Kedia, and the rest of the company’s senior management team will remain closely involved in the business. New York-based private investment firm Greenbriar Equity Grouphas invested in vehicle intelligence company Spireon. Kainos Capital (Kainos), a food and consumer-focussed private equity firm, has agreed to sell its portfolio company SlimFast to Glanbia plc in a transaction valued at USD350 million. The transaction also includes SlimFast’s sister company, HNS.
