MidOcean Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on consumer and business services, has acquired a significant controlling interest in Affinity Dental Management Holdings in partnership with Affinity’s management and certain founders of affiliated practices.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Callcredit Information Group, backed by private equity firm, GTCR, has acquired the Spanish Confirma group of companies, comprising Confirma Sistemas and Soluciones Confirma, which specialise in fraud prevention and anti-money laundering (AML) software solutions.
The strategic acquisition, sees Callcredit take a majority shareholding in the Madrid-headquartered business which is a leader in Spain in what is an increasingly technology-led and rapidly growing market. Callcredit entered the Spanish market in 2015 and has been developing its business and expansion plans following this initial success.

EnteroBiotix, a privately held Scottish biotechnology company focused on using the body’s own microorganisms to prevent and treat disease, has raised GBP500,000 in an oversubscribed seed round of investment.
The financing was led by Equity Gap and supported by the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise.

IGF has delivered a GBP650k combined invoice discounting and asset based lending facility to specialist publisher, The History Press.
The Gloucestershire-based firm recently underwent a management buyout from its previous owner, private equity firm Octopus Investments.
