Southeast Asian online-to-offline (O2O) e-commerce specialist Fave has acquired Groupon Singapore.
The acquisition is set to solidify the company's efforts in helping consumers save, while driving growth for local businesses across SEA.
The acquisition of the Groupon Singapore's business follows similar acquisitions of Groupon Indonesia and Malaysia in 2016. Thus far, Groupon Malaysia has been fully integrated into Fave, while Groupon Indonesia is set to follow suit in the coming months. Groupon Singapore will see a similar integration into Fave by mid-2017.
The transaction is expected to close later this week.

Ardian, Keensight Capital and Parquest Capital have completed their acquisition of Unither, a pharmaceutical contract development manufacturing organisation (CDMO), alongside the company’s existing management team.
Unither was acquired from a consortium led by Equistone Partners Europe.
Unither is a specialist in blow-fill-seal (BFS) technology, which uses sterile unit doses to eliminate the need for preservatives. Unither operates six manufacturing sites in France, the US and Brazil, and has a dedicated research and development centre in Europe.

Legal & General has made three senior appointments for LGIM Real Asset’s private credit business.
Calum Macphail and Tom Sumpster join the London office as head of corporate private credit and head of infrastructure debt, respectively, and Ed Wood joins the Chicago office as head of US private placements.
Reporting to head of private credit, Nicholas Bamber, these new hires support the consolidation of the private credit platform as a single cohesive operation within LGIM Real Assets. They are supported further by a number of more junior hires.

Alternative credit investment manager THL Credit Advisors has appointed Kevin Burke, a former senior managing director at Antares Capital, as a senior adviser to the firm.
Burke will work closely with THL Credit's senior management advising on investments, capital markets and strategic matters.

LeapFrog Investments has acquired a stake in Fincare, one of the largest and fastest-growing financial inclusion platforms in India.
Fincare reported a 79 per cent annual growth rate in assets under management over the last three years.
The new investment in Fincare represents a significant commitment by global investors to India’s banking industry. LeapFrog’s stake is part of an overall USD75 million transaction by investors including Tata Opportunities Fund, Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance, Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance offices, TA Associates and True North.
